Anaheim Ducks Recall Left Wing Patrick Maroon

Syracuse, NY (October 16, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled left wing Patrick Maroon.

Maroon, 22, has appeared in two games for the Crunch this season, collecting five points (2g, 3a) and two penalty minutes. Acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers early on November 21, 2010, Maroon finished the season as the Crunch's leading point-getter, recording 48 points (21g, 27a) in 57 games with the Crunch.

The Crunch travel to Rochester on Tuesday, October 18 to take on the Amerks and return home on October 21 to face the Lake Erie Monsters at the War Memorial Arena.
