
Amerks November Schedule Highlighted by Five Friday Night Home Games

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 26, 2012) - The Rochester Americans will return to home ice on Friday, Nov. 2 when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena to begin their November schedule, which features five Friday night home games.
The Amerks' home schedule for the month of November is as follows:
- Friday, Nov. 2 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs
- Friday, Nov. 9 vs. Adirondack Phantoms
- Friday, Nov. 16 vs. Abbotsford Heat
- Friday, Nov. 23 vs. Albany Devils
- Wednesday, Nov. 28 vs. San Antonio Rampage
- Friday, Nov. 30 vs. Toronto Marlies
The promotional nights during the month of November include "Salute to the Troops" Night in honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 9 and "Mullets, Mustaches and Movember" on Nov. 30 to celebrate the month-long "Movember" initiative as players grow mustaches to help raise awareness for men's health. That night, there will be a T-shirt giveaway for the first 1,000 fans in attendance courtesy of Urology Associates of Rochester. The Amerks will also continue their tradition of playing a home game the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23).
Friday nights are Hockey Night in Rochester, and fans who wear an Amerks or Sabres jersey to a Friday game can purchase a best-available seat for just $17. Ditch the Dorms is also back this season, where students who present their College ID at the box office can purchase a best available ticket for just $12.
Prior to every Friday night home game this season, there will be an Amerks Happy Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar featuring live music and $2 Molson and Coors Light drafts for fans age 21 and over.
Rochester's games on Friday, Nov. 2 and Friday, Nov. 23 will be televised in the Rochester and Buffalo markets on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, while the road game at Hamilton on Saturday, Nov. 3 will be televised nationally in Canada on Sportsnet ONE.
