
Americans to Take Donations for Tornado Victims Beginning this Weekend

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today that the club along with radio partner Hot 107.3 FM, will begin collecting items to help the tornado victims of North Texas, beginning with this Friday's game against the Utah Grizzlies, and all remaining home games in February.
The Allen Americans, along with the help of Americans players' wives and girlfriends, will collect donations of the following items in need; Clothing, Socks - Men, Women, Children (All Sizes), Underwear - Men, Women, Children (All Sizes), Ziploc Bags (All Sizes), Hats, Scarves, Gloves/Mittens, Face Masks, Large Bath Towels, Blankets (Qn, Fl, Tw), Laundry Soap, Bleach, All Purpose Cleaners, Cleaning Wipes, Trash Bags, Packing Tape, Air Pumps (for Air Mattresses), Pillows, Storage Bins, Non-Perishable Foods, Men's Coats (All Sizes, XL, 2XL). Collections will be available at all entrances before the game for the next four games in February. The supplies will be loaded up in several delivery trucks and taken to the families in need.
The Americans open a two-game weekend homestand on Friday night against the Utah Grizzlies, and then Saturday night, it's Star Wars Night as the Americans host the Wichita Thunder.
