Aces Reacquire Ryan Tesink from Quad City

BOISE, IDAHO - The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce the acquisition of forward Ryan Tesink from the Quad City Mallards. Tesink was reassigned to Alaska by the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League.

Aces Head Coach and President of Hockey Operations Rob Murray made the announcement Wednesday.

The 22 year old Tesink, a native of St. John, NB, Canada has played in 37 games this season for the Mallards, scoring 6 goals with 10 assists for 16 points with 55 penalty minutes. The 6-0, 175 pound forward previously played for the Aces last season, appearing in 36 games and tallying 2 goals with 11 assists for 13 points and 39 penalty minutes.

Prior to his professional career, Tesink played 4 seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with St. John and Blainville-Boisbriand, playing in 183 games, scoring 51 goals and adding 101 assists for 152 points and 244 penalty minutes.

The Aces start a three game series with the Idaho Steelheads Wednesday. The two teams will also play Friday and Saturday at the CenturyLink Arena. All three games commence at 5:10pm Alaska time.

The Aces return to the Sullivan Arena to face the defending ECHL champion Allen Americans at the Sullivan Arena February 10, 12 and 13. It will be Aces Hall of Fame weekend.
