Americans Overcome Two Goal Deficit, Beat Silvertips 3-2

The boys came out to play tonight at the Toyota Center for Friday night hockey. They defeated the Everett Silvertips 3-2.

The Silvertips only two goals of the night made it to the back of the net in the first period.

The Americans did not stay behind for long. Krystof Hrabik put the team on the board in the first with a power play goal at 18:57.

Things tied up in the second with Aaron Hyman's goal.

Americans rookie and number one star of the night, Blake Stevenson, sealed the deal in the second at 15:31. Making that his fifth point in the last four games.

The Silvertips outshot the Americans 39-18.

Final score AMS 3 - EVT 2. - The boys will be back at the Toyota Center Tuesday, Jan. 8 against the Prince Gorge Cougars.
