
Americans Host Silvertips for Lone Home Game this Week

The Americans will host the Everett Silvertips tonight at the Toyota Center for Tri-City's lone home game of the week.
It will be the ninth and final meeting between the two teams. The Ams are currently 4th in the Western Conference standings, just two points in front of the Silvertips. Tri-City is 4-3-1-0 against Everett so far this season and has won their last two meetings. Parker Bell has led the Americans against Everett with five goals and three assists.
Tri-City has been incredible at home this season. They have a 19-5-2-1 record at the Toyota Center and their home power plays is the best in the WHL with 35.1% (39/111) success.
The Ams are officially playoff bound after Seattle downed the Royals 8-0 last night in Victoria. It will be Tri-City's first playoff appearance since 2019.
Tri-City last played on Monday in Kelowna as they fell 3-1 to the Rockets. Lukas Dragicevic scored Tri-City's lone goal of the night, his 14th of the season. Dragicevic leads all WHL first-year draft eligible defensemen with 63 points this season and is second among all defensemen (just one point behind Winnipeg Ben Zloty). Tomas Suchanek played in net for the Ams and turned aside 21 of 24 shots faced.
