The Winnipeg ICE have recalled forward Miles Cooper from the Edge School U18 Prep Team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League.
Cooper, 16, from Calgary, Alberta, has 45 points (13 goals and 32 assists) along with 32 penalty minutes in 29 regular season games this season. He also registered 10 points (eight goals and two assists) in six games at the Circle K Classic.
He registered 82 points (24 goals and 58 assists) along with 32 penalty minutes in 33 games last season with the Edge School U16 Prep Team. His 58 assists were a single season high for all players in the CSSHL. He was also named to the CSSHL U16 All Academic Team.
Cooper was selected in the third round, 67th overall by the ICE in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
The ICE continue their 10 game road trip today in Calgary (11:30am on CFRW 1290 AM / 12 noon on WHL Live via CHL TV).
