The Americans opened a weekend on the road with a 6-1 loss in Seattle on Friday.
The Thunderbirds opened scoring just 16 seconds into the game, but the Ams started strong and responded to tie the game just 33 seconds later. Tri-City's lone goal of the night game from Jalen Luypen before Seattle's dominate offense took over.
Luypen has three goals this week including ltonight's and a pair of goals on Wednesday against Everett.
Nick Avakyan played in net and turned aside 38 of 44 shots faced.
