
Americans Acquire Draft Pick from Wenatchee

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has traded prospect Justus Chyld to the Wenatchee Wild. In exchange, the Americans will receive an eighth-round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.
Chyld, a 16-year-old defenseman, currently plays for Fraser Valley Thunderbirds in the BCEHL U18 league, where he has collected two assists through eight games played this season.
"We wish Justus all the best in his future hockey endeavors with the Wild," said Tory.
Chyld was listed by the Americans during the 2022-23 season.
