American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Lehigh Valley Phantoms left wing Jay Rosehill has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Hershey on Oct. 24.

Rosehill was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Rosehill will miss Lehigh Valley's games today (Oct. 26) at Hershey, Wednesday (Oct. 29) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Saturday (Nov. 1) vs. Hartford.

The American Hockey League today announced that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins left wing Bobby Farnham has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game at Hershey on Oct. 25.

Farnham was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 46.22.

Farnham will miss Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's game today (Oct. 26) vs. Binghamton.
