Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans start a busy week with four games in six days, beginning Tuesday night against the Arizona Sun Dogs, at 7:05 PM. The Americans will also battle the first place Wichita Thunder on Friday night, followed by back-to-back games with the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Saturday and Sunday.

AMERICANS RECAP

Tuesday January 16, Americans 4 Tulsa 5

The Tulsa Oilers scored two unanswered third period goals to defeat the Allen Americans by a score of 5-4, on Monday afternoon. Tulsa defenseman Sean Erickson scored the eventual game-winning goal in the third period. The loss was the second straight to the Oilers at the Allen Event Center this season.

Friday January 20, Americans 4 Arizona 3

The Americans wiped out a 2-0 Arizona first period lead, scoring four unanswered goals en route to a 4-3 win over the Sun Dogs. Four different players scored for Allen, including Bruce Graham's 21st goal of the season.

Saturday January 21, Americans 2 Arizona 1

Americans netminder Rejean Beauchemin stopped 41 of 42 shots, as the Americans defeated the Sun Dogs for the second night in a row, 2-1. Mark Nebus scored a goal in his first game in an Americans uniform, while Jason Deitsch netted the game-winner in the third, to break a 1-1 tie. The same two clubs play Tuesday night in Allen. .
