The Killer Bees look to snap a two-game losing streak with three games this week. The bees faceoff against Laredo on Friday night at home before traveling to Allen for a pair of games on Saturday and Sunday.

Tuesday vs. Laredo Bucks, W 4-3
HIDALGO, Texas- The Rio Grande Killer Bees (17-14-5) were able to secure a tie for third on the Berry Conference thanks to some stellar goaltending and the continued hot streak of Tomas Klempa as they went on to defeat the Laredo Bucks (13-21-0)Tuesday night at the State Farm Arena.
Friday at Laredo Bucks, L 3-5
LAREDO, Texas- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (17-15-5) fell to the Laredo Bucks (14-22-0) by a 5-3 final on Friday night. After trailing by three the Bees rallied to tie the game in the third period but a goal with five seconds left in the second proved to be the game winner.
Saturday vs. at Laredo Bucks, L 2-3
LAREDO, Texas- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (17-16-5) fell at the hands of the Laredo Bucks (16-22-0) on Saturday afternoon by a 3-2 final. Three straight Laredo goals bookended the Bees two tallies. Dan Gendur and Tomas Klempa scored the two power-play goals.
BEES NEED TO KNOW
. Once Aaron Lee stepped onto the ice on Jan. 15 in Texas history was made as it was Lee's 224th time donning the Killer Bees sweater, a new franchise record. Lee passed Ryan Shymr.
. There are only two iron men among the Bees players this season as only Brandon Campos and Scott Balan have suited up for all 38 Bees games. Last season two players, Tomas Klempa and Rob Cowan, played in all 66 games.
. The 2011 calendar year has come to a close. The Bees finished with a 25-31-7 during 2011 spread over the end of last season and the start of this year.
. Forward Aaron Lee was named a reserve to the 2012 CHL All-Star game. For Lee it was his first All-Star appearance. The All-Stars defeated Arizona 6-4.
. The Bees have not had much success ringing in the new year historically. The Bees are now 2-8-0 on games on New Year's Eve including this years 4-2 win over Arizona.
. Mark Kroeze was signed by the Bees on November 5 to serve as an emergency back-up goalie after an injury to Dan Dunn. Kroeze is a Minnesota native who is also is the first-ever McAllen City Urban Forester. Kroeze also serves on the Killer Bees off-ice officials crew.
