Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - After closing out their longest home stand of the season the Arizona Sundogs are now back on the road for a pair of games this week against Allen and Wichita.

Wednesday vs. Wichita Thunder, 2-1 (SO) Overtime Loss
It was an evenly matched contest between the Sundogs and Thunder that needed a three-round shootout to decide a winner and Matt Robinson's shootout goal for Wichita is the one that sealed it. Daymen Rycroft scored for the Sundogs late in the third period to force overtime. Scott Reid stopped 39 shots for Arizona in the shootout loss.
Friday vs. Allen Americans, 4-3 Loss
The Sundogs jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the contest before the Americans countered with four unanswered goals. Trailing 4-2, Daymen Rycroft scored on the power play for the Sundogs with a minute remaining in the contest to close the gap to one, but Allen held on in the end for the win. All three of Arizona's goals came on the man-advantage.
Saturday vs. Allen Americans, 2-1 Loss
Adam Smyth scored 2:35 into the contest to put the Sundogs up 1-0, but the Americans answered with two of their own. Jason Deitch's rebound goal from the right circle 7:37 into the third held up as the game winner. Mike Spillane stopped 29 shots for Arizona.

Tuesday's matchup against Allen will be the fifth of six meetings this season between the two clubs. The first four have all been decided by one goal. Kyle Hood is sitting on 49 goals in his pro career. Tuesday will be Arizona's first road game since December 22nd in Rapid City, SD. Zach Carriveau scored his first goal as a Sundog on Wednesday against Wichita. Arizona's three power play goals against the Thunder tied a season-high. Allen's power play unit ranks best in the CHL at 24.8%, but this season against Arizona the Americans are only converting at 14.3% (2-for-14).
