Albany Devils Sign Matt Lorito to ATO

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils today signed Matt Lorito to an amateur tryout agreement. The announcement was made by Albany Devils General Manager Chris Lamoriello.
Lorito, 24, joins Albany after four seasons with Brown University of ECAC Hockey. As a Bear, he registered 106 points, including 47 goals and 59 assists, in 119 contests. Serving as team captain this year, he tied a team high with 23 points backed by 11 goals and 12 assists in 23 games.
The 5-9, 180 lb. forward from Oakville, ON. helped Brown to the ECAC Hockey Championship game and earned All-Tournament Team honors in 2013. That same year, Lorito was named to the All-ECAC Hockey Second Team and the All-Ivy League First Team. Prior to attending Brown, he played two seasons for Villanova of the OJHL and posted 160 points, including 60 goals and 100 assists, in 97 outings.
Lorito, who participated in New Jersey's Development Camp in 2014, was born on July 3, 1990.
