Admirals Sign Rocco Carzo to PTO

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Rocco Carzo to a professional tryout contract (PTO).
Carzo, 24, joins the Admirals from the Ontario Reign of the ECHL. The 6-foot-1, 203-pound forward out of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst has 18 goals and 35 points in 56 games for Ontario this season. In 124 career ECHL games for Florida and Ontario, Carzo recorded 34 goals coupled with 50 assists for 84 points and is plus-11.
The battle for supremacy at sea takes place tonight as the Admirals square off with the Portland Pirates in a pair of contests in Maine starting tonight at 7 p.m. Catch all the action live on 1650 AM WHKT and AHLLive.com.
