
After Huge Brawl, 'Dogs Down Devils in 11 Innings

EL PASO, Texas -- Following a huge brawl in the bottom of the seventh, the Saltdogs (48-42) rallied to beat the El Paso Diablos (36-54) 10-6 in 11 innings in front of 1,194 fans at Cohen Stadium Thursday night.
Bryan Pounds hit a three-run double in the 11th to give the Saltdogs the lead and help them avoid the sweep.
10 players/coaches were ejected following the seventh-inning brawl, which began by Sergio Burruel punching Saltdogs catcher Sean O'Connell. The game lasted four hours and fifty six minutes.
Lincoln opens a three-game series at Amarillo Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Radio coverage begins at 6:35 p.m. on KFOR 1240.
