Akron, OH - Tyler Holt and Matt Lawson had back-to-back, RBI triples in the sixth inning Monday night, highlighting an Aeros come-from-behind, 5-4, win over the Harrisburg Senators at Canal Park.

The Aeros (56-39) won for the fourth straight time, and increased their lead over the second-place Senators to seven games in the EL West. Harrisburg lost its third straight.

Trailing 3-0 entering the home sixth, the Aeros erupted for four runs on five hits against Senators starter Trevor Holder (0-2). After a one-out single by Jordan Henry, Tyler Holt tripled down the right field line to chase Henry home. Lawson then tripled to the gap in right, scoring Holt to make it 3-2. Nick Weglarz followed with a clean single up the middle to drive in Lawson and tie the game 3-3.

Holder, making his second Double-A start, stayed in the game and induced a ground ball to third by Thomas Neal. The Senators forced Weglarz at second, but the relay from second baseman Jose Lozada skipped past first for an error, allowing Neal to motor to second. The next hitter, Juan Diaz clubbed a run-scoring, ground rule double to right field to make it 4-3. It was Diaz's 40th RBI of the season.

Akron scored a key, unearned run in the eighth, taking advantage of two Harrisburg errors, to take a 5-3 lead. The Senators pulled to within 5-4, in the eighth when righthander Jose De La Torre issued a pair of walks and surrendered an RBI single to Eury Perez.

The Aeros turned the one-run lead over to closer Preston Guilmet in the ninth. After a lead-off double by Jim Van Ostrand, Guilmet struck out three consecutive hitters to notch his 14th save. It was the second time on the homestand that an Aeros reliever struck out three straight batters to strand the potential tying run on base. Rob Bryson did the same on Saturday night against Altoona.

Kyle Landis (5-3) picked up the win in relief for Akron, tossing 2/3 of an inning in the sixth. He spelled starter Paolo Espino, who was tagged for three runs in 5 1/3 innings.

Indians reliever Rafael Perez worked a scoreless seventh, his second rehab appearance with the Aeros. Perez gave up one hit and no runs. He threw 14 pitches, 12 for strikes.

Holt finished with two RBI's on the night for Akron. Diaz added another double, to finish 2-4.

The Aeros and Senators (49-46) will play the middle game of the series on Tuesday night at 7:05. RHP Ryan Tatusko (2-2, 4.06) will start for Harrisburg against LHP T.J. House (5-2, 4.07) of the Aeros. All Aeros games are broadcast on Fox Sports 1350 AM and online at www.akronaeros.com. For more information, please call the Aeros at 330-253-5151.
