NORFOLK, VA - Last week, the Admirals finished up a six-game homestand and hit the road to start a stretch of ten straight road games over a 17-day period. Three River Rats forwards had a pair of goals to lead the Albany River Rats past an Admirals squad depleted by call-ups, injuries and illnesses 7-3 on Friday night at the Times Union Center. The Admirals fell 4-1 to the Binghamton Senators on Saturday night at First Arena in Elmira, New York. Pierre Parenteau had a four-point night as the Admirals defeated the Philadelphia Phantoms 5-2 on Sunday evening at the Wachovia Spectrum.

- Parenteau had a four-point night for the Admirals on Sunday in a 5-2 victory in Philadelphia. Parenteau now has points in his last three games with Norfolk (2g, 7a).

- After dropping an overtime decision in Philadelphia on opening night, the Admirals have six straight wins against the Phantoms this season.

- David Bolland has 15 points (5g, 10a) over his past 13 games since January 20 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. No Admiral has more points than Bolland during that period.

- Kris Versteeg scored the game-tying goal late in the third period and notched the winning shootout conversion in a 4-3 victory over Portland on Wednesday at Scope. Versteeg now has one goal and five assists in seven games as an Admiral.

- The Admirals surrendered penalty shot goals in consecutive games over the weekend after not allowing such a goal in their first six-plus seasons. Binghamton's Matt Koalska (Saturday) and Philadelphia's Darren Reid (Sunday) scored penalty shot goals against the Admirals after opponents were previously 0-8 in such attempts against Norfolk since the Admirals joined the AHL in 2000-01.
