LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 2-1-0 last week, opening the week with a loss at Elmira before sweeping a home-and-home series with Richmond. The Frostbite remain in second place in the Eastern Division with a 39-20-5 record for 83 points. In the playoff race, Adirondack is currently in fifth place overall in UHL, leading sixth-place Motor City by three points with four games in hand.

Friday, March 24 @ Elmira Jackals 5 FROSTBITE 2 Elmira goaltender Matt Meachem was the difference in the game as he turned aside 37 Frostbite shots in the Jackals' 5-2 win. David Moccia gave the Frostbite the early lead, scoring his third goal of the season 8:29 into the contest. Elmira scored three unanswered goals, once in each period, to take a 3-1 lead early in the third period. Ryan Prentice pulled the Frostbite back within one at 12:22 of the third, but the Jackals answered just 17 seconds later to go back up by two, and then added another score a little under two minutes later to set the final.

Saturday, March 25 @ Richmond FROSTBITE 4 RiverDogs 0 Adirondack concluded its four-game road trip with a 4-0 win at the Richmond Coliseum. Kris Tebbs turned aside all 21 shots he faced to pick up his first shutout of the season, and the Frostbite's third as a team. Ryan Bennett, Mark Hurtubise, and David Moccia all tallied a goal and an assist in the Frostbite's win.

Sunday, March 26 vs. Richmond FROSTBITE 6 RiverDogs 1 The Frostbite improved to 12-0-0 against the RiverDogs this season with a convincing win at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Richmond opened the scoring with a power-play goal from Todd Grant 8:52 into the contest, but the Frostbite came right back, tying the score on a Sylvain Cloutier power-play goal just 58 seconds later. Ryan Prentice put the Frostbite on top for good with his sixth goal of the season at 17:44. Second-period goals from Ryan Bennett, Greg Koehler, and Mark Hurtubise gave Adirondack a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes, and Kevin Watters set the final, tallying his team-leading 35th goal of the season 7:17 into the final period.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES Friday, March 31 vs. Roanoke 7:35 p.m. Adirondack takes on Roanoke for the 11th of 12 times this season, and for the final time at home. The Frostbite are 10-0-0 overall against Roanoke this season, and 6-0-0 at home. The Vipers ended an eight-game losing streak on Sunday, and are in fifth place of the Eastern Division with a record of 16-44-6 for 38 points.

PROMOTIONS: "Salute to Those Who Serve Night" - Anyone who presents a service ID card at the box office receives $3 off of each ticket purchased.

Saturday, April 1 vs. Danbury 7:35 p.m. The Trashers make their final regular-season visit to Glens Falls on Saturday night. Adirondack is 4-7-2 overall against Danbury, and 2-2-2 at home. The Trashers lead the Eastern Division with a record of 41-15-11 for 93 points, 10 points ahead of the Frostbite.

PROMOTIONS: The Adirondack Donkey Boys broom ball team will take on Danbury Section 102 during the first intermission. Section 102 won in a shootout when the two teams met in Danbury on February 25. The Frostbite are also holding Scout Night on Saturday. Local scout troops can purchase discounted group tickets by calling Joaquin Chao in the Frostbite office at (518) 926-7825 ext. 301.

Sunday, April 2 @ Danbury 5:30 p.m. Adirondack and Danbury meet in the back end of their home-and-home series. The Frostbite are 2-5-0 at the Danbury Ice Arena this season.

FROSTBITE NOTES

- Starting with Friday's game against Roanoke, Adirondack concludes the regular season with 12 games in 16 days. - The Frostbite have won their last three home games by a combined score of 14-2. - With two goals over the weekend, David Moccia doubled his goal output from his first 52 games this season. Moccia enters this week on a four-game point streak (2g, 3a).

- Ryan Bennett has at least one point in 11 of the last 12 games. Bennett has scored 18 of his 20 goals this season over the Frostbite's last 22 games.

FROSTBITE ON THE AIR

All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This week, the show airs live from The Peppermill Family Restaurant, located in the Mid-Town Shopping Center on Route 9 in South Glens Falls. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dane Jackson, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player.
