Reno Aces News Release

Reno, Nev.-Due to smoky conditions in the Northern Nevada area during the final Reno Aces homestand of the season, the Aces will honor unused tickets from this series for tickets of equal value for tonight's game, or any April 2014 home game excluding Opening Day, the organization announced today.

Smoke from the Rim Fire near Yosemite National Park has drifted into northwestern Nevada over the past several days, prompting health concerns for many area residents.

"It was unfortunate that we ended the season with air quality issues, and we completely understand if fans weren't able to attend due to the smoke," said Eric Edelstein, Chief Operating Officer for the Aces. "We didn't want to see our fans lose the value of those tickets, so we're giving fans the ability to use them for our 2013 finale, or during our three homestands next April."

Fans have the option to redeem unused tickets from the current home series, Aug. 21-25, at tonight's game or next season. Tonight, fans can bring their ticket from the Aug. 21-24 games to gain entrance to tonight's game, by redeeming it at the Ticket Office. Beginning in March, fans can present unused tickets any game in the current series (Aug. 21-25) at the Ticket Office for tickets in the same category at any Aces home game between April 4-27, 2014.

The Aces begin their 2014 campaign with 16 home games in the month of April, including matchups against the Albuquerque Isotopes, Las Vegas 51's, Salt Lake Bees, and the yet-to-be-named El Paso franchise.

For more information on ticket redemption for the Aug. 21-25 games, call the Aces Ticket Office at (775) 334-7000.

Ticket plans for the 2014 season are now on-sale at RenoAces.com, by calling (775) 334-7000 or visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office. For up-to-date news and notes throughout the season, visit www.RenoAces.com, follow the club on Twitter (@Aceball) or like the team on Facebook.
