Zephyrs Conclude Season with 8-Game Homestand

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs will kick off their final homestand of the 2013 season with a fourgame set against the Memphis Redbirds before closing out with their final series against the Albuquerque Isotopes.
The Zephyrs are finishing the season strong, having won seven of their last nine games. They enter Sunday's play one game above .500, and are in search of their first back-to-back winning seasons since 2001-02.
The pitching probables for the Memphis series:
Monday 7 PM vs. Memphis : RH Jared Rogers (6-4, 4.88) vs. RH Scott McGregor (5-9, 5.08)
Tuesday 7 PM vs. Memphis : LH Brian Flynn (6-10, 2.86) vs. RH Boone Whiting (4-5, 4.42)
Wednesday 7 PM vs. Memphis : RH Elih Villanueva (2-2, 3.93) vs. RH Eric Fornataro (1-4, 6.95)
Thursday 7 PM vs. Memphis : LH Brad Hand (3-5, 3.63) vs. LH Nick Greenwood (2-7, 5.86)
The season's final weekend festivities begin Thursday with College Football Kick-off Night and Thirsty Thursday sponsored by Budweiser, with specials on $1 beers and $3 bourbon and vodka drinks. The Z's welcome Albuquerque with the final Fireworks Friday sponsored by Coca-Cola, and sci-fi characters such as Star Trek's USS New Orleans and USS Corsair (Starfleet) will be on hand for pictures.
Saturday is Baseball Bingo sponsored by Treasure Chest Casino and Sunday is Kids Day sponsored by Dasani and Cox Media. It's also Fan Appreciation Day, featuring the final fireworks show of the year. The regular season concludes on Labor Day with a special 1 p.m. first pitch.
