Aces Sign Kremyr, Release Schafer

The Aces signed forward Jordan Kremyr (KREMM-er) and released forward Patrick Schafer, Aces Head Coach, Rob Murray announced on Friday. The Aces remain home to continue their six-game home stand, on Friday and Saturday night against the Condors. Tickets for both games are on sale now. Kremyr, 25, joined the Aces for training camp, but was unable to appear in a game due to injury. He made his pro debut last season in March, playing in one game while the Aces visited Las Vegas. He completed a four-year collegiate career at Providence College, nearby where Murray coached last season. He finished his college career with 27 points (13g, 14a) in 104 games. Prior to playing in the NCAA, the 6'0", 195 lbs. Cloverdale, British Columbia native played in the BCHL. In three seasons with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, Kremyr had 196 points (82g, 114a) in 180 games.

Schafer appeared in six games for the Aces, and registered one assist.
