Matchup:

The Express and the Cyclones meet up for the first of 16 matchups between the two clubs this season. Chicago got out to a quick start, winning their first two games by a combined score of 9-3, and got back on the winning track with a 2-0 shutout over the Walleye on October 29, the first in team history. G Paul Dainton made his first start for the Express, stopping 27 shots for his first professional shutout. The Cyclones have not fared as well early on, winning only one of their first four games. In the victory, G Chet Pickard stopped 24 shots in a 3-0 shutout win over the Trenton Titans. The Cyclones have not yet played on their home ice this season.

D Drew Paris is tied for first among ECHL defensemen with two power play goals... Chicago leads the league in penalty kill percentage, killing off 88.9 percent of their penalties... F Pierre-Luc Faubert is tied for second in shooting percentage, scoring on 42.9 percent of his shots... F Bobby Robins is fourth in the league in PIM with 35... D Darcy Campbell has returned from Springfield... D Steven Delisle is expected to make his Express debut tonight.
