K-Wings Countdown to Face-Off

For the second straight night the Kalamazoo Wings hit the road to take on an Atlantic Division foe. Kalamazoo will travel to the First Arena for the first of three appearances this month against the Elmira Jackals.

Tonight will close out a stretch of four road games in the span of five contests for the K-Wings, who are 2-1-0-0 so far during the swing. With a record of 5-1-0-0, the K-Wings are in first place in the North Division, two points ahead of the Chicago Express.

After traveling to Trenton last night, Elmira returns to the First Arena to begin a three-game home stand. The Jackals have spent a lot of time at home this season, as all but two of the Elmira's seven games have been played at the First Arena. On the season, the Jackals are 3-2-0-0 in home games.

The K-Wings will be teaming with SportClips Haircuts for No Shave "Movember". Fans are encouraged to join the K-Wings players in growing moustaches or beards in the month of November to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer.

Spreading the Wealth

Kalamazoo showed a well balanced scoring attack in yesterday's 6-5 victory last night over Wheeling. The K-Wings have 11 players, including six different goal scores earn points in yesterday's win.

On a Roll

Forward Patrick Asselin enters tonight on a five-game point streak. Asselin, who leads the team with six goals, has rattled off 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) during the streak.
