Aces Set To Begin Homestand

RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces return home Saturday night for a set of 12 home games in 13 days, with the first stretch highlighted by giveaways, special appearances, fireworks and discounts. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on Saturday and Monday, afternoon starts slated for Sunday (1:05 p.m.) and Tuesday (12:05 p.m.).

The series opener against the Tucson Padres on Saturday will be highlighted by the baseball card set giveaway presented by Northern Nevada Dairymen. The set, featuring 2013 Reno Aces players and field staff, will be given out to 2,000 lucky fans in attendance. Girls' Night Out presented by Alice @ 96.5 will also take place Saturday. For $28, fans can purchase a package that includes an Infield Premium or Sports Bar ticket, a commemorative wine glass and a pre-game wine tasting event. Sunday afternoon brings another Renown Children's Hospital Family Funday to Aces Ballpark, with the return of Baseball Bingo. Baxter, the Arizona Diamondbacks mascot, will make a special appearance at the ballpark, as the Aces host the final Youth Baseball and Softball Day of the season.

On Monday night, fans can take advantage of half-price margaritas for Margarita Mondays presented by Alice @ 96.5.

The series wraps up with an afternoon game on 2-for-$22 Tuesday presented by KTVN Channel 2 News. Fans can purchase two general admission tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for only $22. After enjoying the third league-wide off-day of the season on Wednesday, the Aces will be back in action on Thursday, June 6, for an eight-game homestand. The stretch includes more giveaways, special events and discounts.
