Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Right-handed starter Sean White has been activated from the disabled list today, May 31. In a corresponding move, the Los Angeles Dodgers selected the contract of right-handed reliever Peter Moylan from Triple-A Albuquerque today.

Moylan last pitched on Tuesday at Memphis, striking out one in a scoreless inning, and is 2-1 with two saves and a 3.52 ERA in 17 appearances with the Isotopes this season. The 34-year-old hurler posted a 1.80 ERA in eight games with the Braves last year and is 20-9 with four saves and a 2.59 ERA in 295 career relief appearances, all with Atlanta from 2006-2012. The Australian import was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Minnesota Twins in 1996.

White returns to action after being placed on the disabled list retroactive to May 9 with a right lateral strain. The righty holds a 1-4 record with a 4.80 ERA (16ER/30.0IP) in six starts with the Isotopes this season. He has allowed three home runs and struck out 21 as a starter. This is Washington native's first season in the Dodgers organization. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the eighth round of the 2003 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Washington.

The finale of Albuquerque's four-game series with the Memphis Redbirds is tonight with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 MDT. Right-hander Blake Johnson toes the rubber against the Redbirds' Richard Castillo as the Topes look to take the series. All the action can be heard on 610 The Sports Animal with Josh Suchon on the call. The Isotopes return home for a four-game set with the Oklahoma City RedHawks tomorrow, Saturday, June 1.
