
Aces, River Cats Open First Series of Year Tomorrow

RENO, Nev.- The Reno Aces will host the Sacramento River Cats for a three-game series starting tomorrow, in a set that will span the Aces' Independence Weekend Celebration.
Limited general admission tickets are available for the July 4 game, however seats are still available for the July 5 and 6 games.
The three-game set will be the first of four meetings between the clubs in the last two months of the season. Sacramento is currently leading the Aces by 2.5 games in the Pacific Northern division.
Below is an overview of the series.
Thursday, July 3
*"Swings for Stars and Stripes" to benefit Blue Star Mothers. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase a 25-pitch batting practice session on the field for $20, limited to the first 60 fans to sign up. Fans can also go on the field to shag fly balls by making a donation of $5. Sign-ups will begin at 4 p.m. at the Aces' ticket office, and the event will go from 4-8 p.m.
*"Off the Plate" Craft Fair and Food Truck Rally starting at 5 p.m.
*Free Ballpark Tours.
Friday, July 4
*Reno Aces vs. Sacramento River Cats, 6:35 p.m.
*Pre-game Party on the Plaza. Inflatables will be set up on the plaza from 4-7 p.m., and the Freight House District will feature the Alias Smith Band and a barbeque buffet.
*Reno's premier fireworks show after the game presented by Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, K-Bull 98.1 FM and KTVN Channel 2 News.
Saturday, July 5
*Reno Aces vs. Sacramento River Cats, 7:05 p.m.
*July 5th Family Pack. Four right field reserved tickets, four food vouchers (good for a hot dog or beef sandwich, chips, and a soda), and 20 percent off in the Team Store for $76.
*Postgame fireworks show presented by K-Bull 98.1 FM and KTVN Channel 2 News.
*The Masters of Magic will perform during and after the game, and will be available to meet fans on the concourse.
*Free concert in the Freight House District before and after the game featuring Jake's Garage Band.
Sunday, July 6
*Reno Aces v. Sacramento River Cats, 6:05 p.m.
*Circus Circus Family Sunday featuring baseball bingo.
*Kids Eat Free Sunday presented by Sam's Club, Kimmie Candy, 106.9 MORE FM and CBS Sports Radio 96.1. 500 fans 12 and under will receive a free hot dog, bag of candy and small soda.
