
Aces Final Regular-Season Homestand Kicks off Monday

RENO, Nev.-On the verge of clinching the franchise's first-ever division title and playoff berth, the first-place Reno Aces return to Aces Ballpark for the final regular-season homestand of the year Monday, highlighted by fireworks, giveaways and Fan Appreciation Day.
The Aces open the eight-game set with four games against the Fresno Grizzlies-Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants-beginning Monday evening at 7:05 p.m.
The series continues Tuesday with another 7:05 p.m. game, which is the season's final 50-Cent Hot Dog Night presented by KTVN Channel 2 News. Fans can purchase up to 10 hot dogs at a time for just 50 cents apiece throughout Tuesday's game.
Wednesday night's 7:05 p.m. game is another 2-for-$22 game, where fans can get two general admission tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $22, with the opportunity to upgrade to outfield reserved tickets for just $4 more.
In addition, the Reno Aces have partnered with the American Cancer Society for K's for Cancer Night during Wednesday's game. Fans can help the fight against cancer by purchasing a special event ticket or by bidding on one of the game-worn jerseys from the game.
Coors Light Thirsty Thursday(tm) presented by Lotus Radio and Reno News & Review returns Thursday at 7:05 p.m., with $2 Coors and Coors Light drafts available until the fifth inning. In addition, fans can purchase a $12 ticket package that includes a ticket to the Coors Light Party Zone, free Aces mug and one free fill-up of either Coors or Coors Light.
The Tucson Padres come to Reno beginning Friday night at 7:05 p.m., with a Food Drive presented by US Foods, which will benefit the Food bank of Northern Nevada. Also on Friday, the Aces and Harrah's will join forces for a "Salute to Bill Harrah," who would have turned 100 years old that day.
Friday is also another Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KRNV News 4, with fireworks immediately following the game. All children 12 and under are invited to run the bases after Friday, Saturday and Sunday's game, courtesy of Dr. David Welmerink.
The homestand continues at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, with a Reno Aces cap giveaway, where 2,500 fans will receive an Aces ball cap.
Sunday's special 6:05 p.m. first pitch is another Renown Children's Hospital Family Funday, with the final regular-season edition of baseball bingo. Also, United Federal Credit Union's Archie's Kids Club will host a meet-and-greet with Aces players prior to Sunday's game.
The regular season concludes Monday, Sept. 5, with a 1:05 p.m. matinee. Monday is Fan Appreciation Day, on which 2,500 fans will receive a bobblehead of fan favorite and current Major Leaguer Wily Mo Peña, who won a fan vote earlier this season.
