RENO, Nev.- A pair of six-run innings helped propel the Reno Aces to a 14-3 victory over the Nashville sounds on Tuesday night at Aces Ballpark.

The Sounds hit up Reno starter Mike Bolsinger for three runs in the first inning, their only offense of the night.

Josh Wilson's two-RBI single gave Reno a pair of runs in the fourth off former Aces lefty Zach Kroenke. The Aces exploded offensively in the sixth, recording their first six-run inning of the night. Reno jumped on Sounds reliever Michael Olmsted in the eighth for six more runs.

Ed Easley and Mike Jacobs, Reno's three and four hole batters, combined to go 4-for-9 on the night, with six RBI and three runs scored. Brad Snyder went 3-for-5 with two knocked in and three runs.

Bolsinger was credited with his fifth win of the season, allowing three runs on six hits through 6.0 innings. He struck out nine batters, just one shy of his career high, while walking five.

Reliever David Hernandez, who joined Reno today after being optioned by the D-backs, threw 2.0 scoreless frames, allowing just one hit and striking out two. He drove in his first career run in the eighth, on a groundout in the eighth.

The Pacific Coast League Pacific North Division leading Salt Lake Bees won their contest tonight, officially eliminating Reno from a 2013 playoffs bid.
