The following is a note from former Everett Silvertips defender Ty Gibson:
Thank you, Everett.
From my family and myself, we want to say thank you for letting us be a part of the Silvertips family. To everyone within the organization who gave me a chance to play in a first-class organization, I will forever be grateful.
To my coaches: thank you for all you have taught me, your countless hours behind the scenes getting us ready, and for helping me grow not only as a player but also as a person.
To the staff, volunteers and Booster Club: thank you for all your time spent so we could have a wonderful experience. What you do is underrated and does not go unnoticed!
To the fans: you all made playing in Everett a special time. You all brought the energy every single day!
To my billets, Brian, Michelle, Kyle and Vika: thank you for welcoming me into your home and treating me like family from day one. A connection we will have for life!
To my teammates: thank you for all the times and memories we created. Brothers for life!
It has been an honour to be a Silvertip.
