Blazers Trade Sydor to Lethbridge for Swetlikoff and Two Draft Picks

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have traded 2003-born forward Dylan Sydor to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for 2003-born forward Blake Swetlikoff, a 2024 third round pick (via Prince George) and a 2025 second round pick (via Wenatchee).

Swetlikoff comes to the Blazers with 195 games of WHL experience where he has 34 goals, 60 assists and 94 points with Lethbridge and Spokane. This season, the 20-year-old from Regina, has two goals, seven assists and nine points in 37 games.

Sydor was originally listed by the Blazers in September 2019. In 179 games with the Blazers, Sydor had 42 goals, 43 assists and 85 points.

"Dylan is a great teammate and person. He was a contributor to three division championships over his time with the Blazers," commented General Manager / Head Coach, Shaun Clouston. "We would like to sincerely thank Dylan for all his hard work and dedication to our hockey club and wish him the best in Lethbridge."

The Blazers are back on home ice on Friday, January 12th when they host the Everett Silvertips at 7:00pm.
