Raptors 905 (2-5), the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors defeated the Texas Legends (4-2) 119-112 in the second of back-to-back meetings Wednesday evening. Markquis Nowell spearheaded the victory with a team-high 25 points, nine assists, five rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. Legends' guard Jordan Walker put up a game-high 31 points, with two rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in the matchup.

The two teams traded baskets throughout the first 11 minutes before the 905 took a two-point advantage going into the second quarter. Through the second, the 905 used a balanced effort to outscore the Legends 31-28 in the frame. Olivier-Maxence Prosper (22 points, nine rebounds) contributed 18 first half point to keep the visitors within five points going into the break.

The two teams continued to play a competitive second, but the 905 were able to hold onto their lead as the third quarter came to an end. The home side opened the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run, taking their largest lead of the game,14. However, the visitors quickly responded with a 8-3 run of their own to bring the game within 10. In a game that resulted in 11 lead changes and four ties, the 905 were able to come away with the victory in Mississauga, splitting the season series with the Legends.

Mouhamadou Gueye paced the 905 with an 18-point, 11 rebound double-double, adding two assists and three blocks to the stat sheet. Texas received complementary scoring from Theo Pinson who a 10-point, 12 assist double-double in the loss, along with seven rebounds and three blocks in the loss.

The travel to Birmingham for a two-game series beginning Saturday, tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m., while the Legends continue their road trip in Cleveland, taking on the Charge Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
