Capital City Go-Go News Release

The Capital City Go-Go continue their road trip to Greensboro to take on the Swarm in a two-game series.

The Go-Go are coming off a last-second loss to the Westchester Knicks on January 8, in which Knicks guard DaQuan Jeffries tipped a layup in before the buzzer for two of his 22 points on the evening. Washington Wizards assignee Patrick Baldwin Jr. led the team with a career-high 30 points on 14-19 shooting and a team-high nine rebounds.

Greensboro (2-3) is looking for their first win of 2024, after a January 2 loss to the Motor City Cruise followed by back-to-back losses in Wisconsin against the Herd last week. The team is led by rookie guard Amari Bailey who, after averaging a team-high 18.0 PPG during Showcase Season, has elevated his scoring thus far in the regular season to 24.6 PPG -- once again leading the team.

During Showcase Season, the Go-Go and Swarm played a two-game series on December 5 and December 7, in which the Swarm took the first game 105-104 on a buzzer-beater layup by Trevon Scott. The Go-Go won the second game 139-107 back in Washington, with seven players scoring in double figures.

Tonight's game will be available to watch on ESPN+ and Friday's game will stream live on Tubi.
