Brown's Career Night Leads Legends To Season-High Over 905

MISSISSAUGA, ON - The Texas Legends (4-1) hit a season-high score, led by a career-high performance from Greg Brown III, to take down the Raptors 905 (1-5) 149-130.

The 905 grabbed the first basket but their lead didn't last long as Greg Brown answered with back-to-backs to put Texas on top. The game stayed close, but the Legends never relinquished control. Texas held a double-digit edge through most of the second, but the home team finished with 5 unanswered to make it 73-66 at the half. Javon Freeman-Liberty followed up a 12-point second quarter with a 13-point third, but the Legends finished 38-29 to build a 16-point advantage heading into the final minutes. The visitors shot 63% in the fourth, fending off the comeback efforts and building their largest lead of the night in a season-high offensive performance.

Six Legends players finished in double-digits led by Brown with his fourth straight double-double of 30 points, 12 rebounds. Justin Jackson added 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Jordan Walker came off the bench for 24 points (6-of-10 outside), 5 assists. Olivier-Maxence Prosper tallied 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and Theo Pinson grabbed a game-high 16 assists, 4 points, and 8 rebounds. Joe Wieskamp tabbed 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and Mike Miles Jr. joined him off the bench for 13 points, 4 assists.

Javon Freeman-Liberty had a career-high 40 points for the 905 along with 5 rebounds, 6 assists. Markquis Nowell tallied a double-double of 14 points, 11 assists.
