
67's Build for the Future AT 2018 OHL Priority Selection Draft

OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa 67's welcomed 14 new players to the organization on Saturday as the club addressed a number of future needs through the 2018 OHL Priority Selection Draft.
After selecting centre Cam Tolnai with their first-round pick, sixth overall, the 67's added prospects at every position during a busy day that saw the Barber Poles pick six times through the first four rounds of the 15-round draft.
"We are very happy with what we were able to accomplish as an organization today," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "We feel we were able to add quality players who we believe will make our team better in the short and long-term."
The players selected by Ottawa on Saturday are:
6th, Round 1: Cam Tolnai, C
The 16-year-old Oakville native is coming off an impressive Minor Midget season in which he scored 31 goals and 80 points in 35 games for the Oakville Rangers.
35th overall, Round 2: Will Cranley, G
The 16-year-old Peterborough native had a 2.17 goals-against average for the Peterborough Petes Minor Midget AAA last season.
44th overall, Round 3 (from Erie): Alec Belanger, D
The 15-year-old blueliner had 16 goals and 46 points in 34 games for the Barrie Colts Minor Midget AAA.
51st overall, Round 3 (from Oshawa): Yanic Crete, C
The 15-year-old from l'Original scored 20 goals and 49 points in 41 games for the Hawkesbury Hawks Midget AAA last season.
66th overall, Round 4: Colby Ambrosio, C
The 15-year-old Welland, ON native had 17 goals and 28 points in 35 games with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 16U last season.
76th overall, Round 4 (from Barrie): Chase Bradley, C
The 16-year-old St. Louis native had eight goals and six assists with the New Jersey Colonials (16U and 18U) last season.
86th overall, Round 5: Matthew Maggio, RW
The 17-year-old native of Tecumseh, ON had 20 goals and 44 points in 33 games last year with the Sun County Panthers Minor Midget AAA.
106th overall, Round 6: Anthony Costantini, D
The 16-year-old Hamilton native had 31 points in 64 games for the Vaughan Kings Minor Midget AAA last year.
126th overall, Round 7: Dylan Peterson, RW
The 16-year-old native of Roseville, California had 12 goals and 35 assists for the CIHA White Midget AAA while also suiting up for five games with the Ottawa Jr. Senators.
166th overall, Round 9: Owen Luik, D
The 16-year-old Oakville native had 11 goals and 26 points in 35 games for the Oakville Rangers Minor Midget AAA last year.
206th overall, Round 11: Liam Cavan, D
The 16-year-old Gloucester native had three goals and 13 points in 35 games for the Rockland Nationals Midget AAA last year.
226th overall, Round 12: Ethan Graham, RW
The 16-year-old winger had six goals and 18 points for the Mississauga Reps Minor Midget AAA during the 2017-2018 season.
246th overall, Round 13: Nicholas Chmelevski, C
The brother of Ottawa 67's forward and San Jose Sharks prospect Sasha Chmelevski had 17 points in 20 games with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies last year, while also suiting up for seven games for Victory Honda U15 (T1EBHL).
290th overall, Round 15 (from Windsor): Davis Tolnai, G
The twin brother of Ottawa first-round pick Cam Tolnai had a 0.93 goals-against average in 14 games for the Oakville Rangers Minor Midget AAA.
