Otters Take 14 at 2018 OHL Priority Selection

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie Otters added 14 to their list of prospective players with their choices at the 2018 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, including seven forwards, six defensemen, and one goaltender.

The Otters selected fourth overall in the first round where they drafted GTHL player of the year Jamie Drysdale. The 5'11", 158-pound defensemen tallied 50 points with the Toronto Marlboros during the 2017-18 campaign. Erie used their two third-round picks to add depth at the center position by taking Ryan Alexander 58th from the Toronto Marlboros and Frankie Carogioiello 60th from the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.

Round 7 - 124th Overall - Cameron Morton D 6'0" 177lbs.

Round 8 - 144th Overall - Noah Sedore LW 5'7" 149lbs.

Round 9 - 164th Overall - John Richer D 6'3" 175lbs.

Round 11 - 204th Overall - Bryan Huggins D 5'9" 150lbs.

Round 12 - 224th Overall - Aidan Campbell G 6'2" 173lbs.

Round 13 - 244th Overall - Aidan Flynn RW 5'11" 152lbs.

Round 15 - 284th Overall - Justin Mauro C 5'4" 125lbs.

The Erie Otters 2018 OHL Priority Selection class, as well as previous draft classes, will attend orientation camp this spring. Details, including roster, dates, and ice times, will be released in the near future.
