Attack Add Barnes in 2nd Round

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that General Manager Dale DeGray has selected centreman Josh Barnes with the 24th overall selection in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore.

A native of Cornwall, Ontario, Barnes scored 23 goals and added 23 assists in 36 games for the Cornwall Colts U18 Program.

"Josh is a very highly skilled centreman that has game changing ability," said DeGray. "He thinks the game at a very high level and can break the game open at any given moment."

OHL Central Scouting describes Josh as being a pure goal scorer that has all the required attributes to put up big numbers at the OHL level. "His greatest asset is his shot. It has velocity, accuracy, and a lightning fast release."

The Attack are thrilled to welcome Josh and his family to the organization.
