LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas 51sPROFESSIONAL baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will open a seven-game homestand against the American Conference on Tuesday, July 24 against the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A's, at Cashman Field. The three-game series against the Sounds will conclude on Thursday, July 26. Las Vegas will then host defending PCL champion, the Memphis Redbirds, Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, in a four-game series from Friday-Monday, July 27-30. All seven games on the homestand will begin at 7:05 p.m.
The 51s, under manager Tony DeFrancesco, concluded a seven-game road on Sunday afternoon in Northern Nevada against intrastate rival, the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The 51s organization have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada.
2018 CASHMAN FIELD ATTENDANCE: In 49 dates, Las Vegas total is 232,234 for an average of 4,739. The season-high crowd is 9,321 vs. Salt Lake on July 3 for the Fireworks Extravaganza! The Las Vegas franchise has reached the 300,000 mark in "home" attendance in all 35 seasons (1983-2017). The all-time attendance total now stands at 11,901,021.
MiLB Es Divertido Ser Un Fan - "It's Fun To Be A Fan Campaign!" The 51s will transform to the Las Vegas Reyes de Plata ("Silver Kings") eight times during the 2018 season at Cashman Field. The opener of the homestand against Nashville on Tuesday, July 24 will feature Reyes de Plata! The remaining dates are: Tuesday, August 21 & 28.
MiLB (on July 24, 2017) launched Es Divertido Ser Un Fan, a new multi-cultural fan engagement platform aimed at specifically connecting with Hispanic/Latino baseball fans in 160 markets throughout the U.S. and Canada. The program debuted in August of 2017 in select MiLB markets, including Las Vegas, Charlotte, North Carolina; Kane County, Illinois; and Visalia, California, with national expansion in the 2018 season. The Las Vegas Reyes de Plata will take the field celebrating the city and state's pioneering history at the forefront of the precious metal mining business that continues to define the Silver State today.
Budweiser Dollar Beer Night, presented by Laughlin, will be featured in the finale of the three-game series vs. Nashville on Thursday, July 26. Dollar Beer Night will be featured at every Thursday home game during the 2018 season.
Proper identification and wristbands are required for dollar beer night.
A spectacular post-game Fireworks Show, presented by Findlay Toyota, will be featured in the opener of the four-game series against Memphis on Friday, July 27.
51s Mets Style Jersey Night, presented by Desert Radiology, will be featured in game two of the series vs. the Redbirds on Saturday, July 28. The first 2,500 fans through the gates (open at 6 p.m.) will receive the jersey.
"Smith's Value Menu Monday" will be presented in the finale of the seven-game homestand against the Redbirds on July 30. Monday "home" games will feature a "Value Menu" for the 10th straight season! The 51s and Centerplate have teamed together for discounted food items on Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Peanuts, Cracker Jack, Pretzels and Churros for just $1.00 per item.
WestStar Credit Union "Winning Wednesday" will be featured SEVEN times during the 2018 season. The remaining dates are: July 25 vs. Nashville; August 22 vs. Salt Lake; August 29 vs. Tacoma.
If the 51sWIN, fans can redeem their tickets for a future Sunday through Tuesday "home" game. In addition, each "WestStar Winning Wednesday," one lucky fan will also be randomly selected to be the WestStar Winner of the Game! The winning fan will receive an autographed baseball from a 51s player, a seat upgrade for their group, and the opportunity to become the guest PA announcer for a half-inning that night!
Nashville's roster features one of the top 10 prospects in the A's organization, according to Baseball America: shortstop Jorge Mateo (No. 3).
Memphis' roster features four of the top 10 prospects in the Cardinals organization, according to Baseball America: catcher Carson Kelly (No. 3); outfielder Tyler O'Neill (No. 5); right-handed pitcher Dakota Hudson (No. 9) and right-handed pitcher Ryan Helsley (No. 10).
Memphis won the 2017 PCL Championship (defeated El Paso 3-games-to-2) and compiled a PCL-best regular season record of 91-50 (.645). Durham (International League champion) defeated Memphis, 5-3, in the 2017 Gildan Triple-A National Championship game. In 2018, the Redbirds have the best record in the PCL with a 64-37 mark (.634).
Following the homestand, the PCL has a scheduled off day on Tuesday, July 31. The 51s will then continue the stretch of 14 straight games against the American Conference (July 24 - August 7) and embark on a seven-game "Midwest" road trip beginning in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday, August 1. The three-game series against the Storm Chasers, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, will conclude on Friday, August 3. Las Vegas will continue the trip and travel to Des Moines, Iowa to face the Iowa Cubs, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, in a four-game series from, Saturday-Tuesday, August 4-7. The PCL will then have a scheduled off day on Wednesday, August 8.
The 51s will broadcast all games on Lotus Broadcasting on NBC Sports Radio AM 920 'THE GAME', which will carry live all 140 regular season games. Also, all games will be available on the 51s website (Major League Baseball Advanced Media, MLBAM) at www.LV51.com. Russ Langer, the 10-time Nevada Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA), is in his 19th season behind the microphone calling 51s baseball.
All 51s games (home & away) will also be broadcast on MiLB.TV via LV51.com.
Tickets for all 51s home games can be purchased at the SCE Federal Credit Union Box Office at Cashman Field. The box office is open Monday-Friday (non-game days) from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com).
The individual game tickets for the 70-game home season are priced at $11.00 (reserved, $12.00-Day of Game); $14.00 (plaza, $15.00-Day of Game) and $17.00 (field, $18.00-Day of Game) & the blue dugout seats at $30.00 ($35-Day of Game). The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza, field and reserved seats throughout the season.

LAS VEGAS BALLPARK 2019 SEASON TICKET DEPOSITS: Fans can reserve their spot in the "new" Las Vegas Ballpark by placing a season ticket deposit for just $100 per seat; $100 per seat for club seat and $100 for a group event.

Customers who place a deposit will be able to select their seats after current 51s season ticket holders. Deposit priority will be based on the time and date of deposit.
Inventory is limited on season tickets and the opportunity to purchase will be determined on a first come - first served basis. Priority order is based on 2018 season ticket holders, followed by customers who make a $100 deposit and finally the general public.
The $100 deposit will be kept on the customers account to secure the priority. At the date of the purchase, the deposit will be applied towards the total cost of the season tickets or group event. All deposits are refundable if customers decide not to purchase tickets.
NOTE: For fans that are currently a SEASON TICKET HOLDER or GROUP BUYER, there is no need to place a deposit for the 2019 season.
