BOISE, ID: The Northwest League, in conjunction with the host team Boise Hawks, have announced additions to the Northwest League roster for the 2019 Northwest League / Pioneer League All-Star Game. Deyni Olivero, Philip Clarke, Michael Toglia, Bladimir Restituyo, Patrick Frick, Joe Aeilts and Trent Tingelstad have replaced Luis Frias, Steven Layton, Kristian Robinson, Ricardo Genoves, Franklin Labour, Jake Slaughter and Aaron Schunk due to promotion or injury precaution on the roster.
Pitcher Deyni Olivero (Hillsboro) - Signed by the Diamondbacks back in 2015, Deyni Olivero has started regularly for the Hops this season, totaling a 1.80 ERA, good for the best out of the Hops starting rotation.
Catcher Phillip Clarke (Vancouver) - Part of the College World Series Champions, Clarke was the regular catcher for the Vanderbilt Commodores in their 2019 World Series run. Clarke is currently hitting .311 on the season with two home runs for the Canadians.
First Base Michael Toglia (Boise) - The Colorado Rockies first round draft pick currently leads the Hawks with seven home runs and is tied for fourth in the league in long balls. He hails from the Northwest, originally from Gig Harbor, Washington, and is ranked in the Rockies system as their fifth best prospect according to Baseball America.
Second Base Bladimir Restituyo (Boise) - The speedy infielder from the Hawks leads his team with 15 stolen bases, which is also tied for third in the Northwest League. He is also tied for first in the league with 13 doubles. The 18-year-old signed with the Rockies back in 2017.
Shortstop Patrick Frick (Everett) - A flexible infielder for the AquaSox this season, Patrick Frick has collected a .264 batting average with 15 RBIs. Frick was drafted this year by the Seattle Mariners in the 14th round.
Outfielder Joe Aeilts (Boise) - Drafted in the 14th round by the Rockies this year out of Illinois State, Joe Aeilts has burst onto the scene with 41 hits over 33 games, giving him ownership of second in the league in batting average (.342). He also is tied for third on the Hawks roster for doubles with seven.
Outfielder Trent Tingelstad (Evertt) - Trent Tingelstad has been a clutch hitter for the AquaSox this year knocking in 26 RBIs, a team high. He was drafted in the 22nd round this year by the Seattle Mariners.
