#2 Hitter in Pacific Coast League to Play for Hops Tonight
Published on July 16, 2015 under Northwest League (NWL1)
Hillsboro Hops News Release
With just 11 games remaining in the first-half pennant chase, the Hillsboro Hops (15-12) are in a tie for second place in the Northwest League's South Division with Eugene (15-12), one game behind first-place Salem-Keizer (16-11).
Tonight in Eugene, the Hops will look to rebound from last night's 8-4 loss to the Emeralds. And they'll do so with the second-leading hitter in the Pacific Coast League, Mike Freeman, who has joined the Hops on an injury rehab assignment. Details can be found in today's Gameday Information (attached).
Lefthander Jared Miller starts for the Hops. He has won all five of his starts and is second in the league with an 0.77 ERA.
Tonight's radio pregame show from P.K. Park in Eugene begins at 6:35PM on Rip City Radio 620AM and www.RipCityRadio.com. First pitch is set for 7:05.
