April 27, 2025 - The Charlotte Checkers today announced that they will open their playoff run with a best-of-five, second-round series against the Providence Bruins. Atlantic Division No. 3 seed Providence, which defeated No. 6 Springfield 2-1 in a best-of-three, first-round matchup that concluded earlier today, will host Games 1 and 2. April 25, 2025 - April has been a bit of a whirlwind for Jack Devine. He started the month by helping guide his University of Denver squad to their third Frozen Four in his four years there. The Pioneers would ultimately fall to the eventual champion Western Michigan in a double-overtime thriller, ending an illustrious four-year college career for Devine.
