September 27, 2016 - SUGAR LAND, TX - The Sugar Land Skeeters defeated the Long Island Ducks 7-1 on Tuesday night in Game 1 of the Atlantic League Championship Series. Wingnuts Wingnuts Boast Indy Ball Best Four in MLB

September 27, 2016 - WICHITA, Kans. - With two more former players called up to the majors earlier this summer, the Wichita Wingnuts now lead all of independent baseball with four alumni in the Major Leagues as the 2016 MLB regular season enters its final week. David Peralta was the first former Wingnut to make his Major League debut, playing his first MLB game for the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 1, 2014.
