Grizzlies Ink Five from Pioneer League
March 18, 2024 - Sauget, IL - The Gateway Grizzlies announce that they have signed five players who played in the Pioneer League in 2023 to their roster for the upcoming 2024 season, inking former Boise Hawks Trevor Minder, Sean Skelly, and Matt Voelker, while also bringing in former Grand Junction Jackalopes Adam Bloebaum and Matt Golda. An infielder who hails from Springfield, Illinois, Minder is coming off a strong season with Boise in 2023, hitting .309 with eight homers, 17 doubles, 61 RBIs, and 102 hits over 91 games. March 18, 2024 - SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Sioux City Explorers have announced that the team has signed right-handed pitcher Rayne Supple for the 2024 season. The addition of Supple gives the Explorers 23 players under contract for the upcoming season. March 18, 2024 - Ottawa, ON - The Ottawa Titans Baseball Club announced today that they have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Melvin Jimenez for the upcoming 2024 Frontier League season. Jimenez, 24, joins the Titans for a return to professional baseball after spending the first six seasons of his career in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Triple-A Bat, Hard-Throwing Righty Join Monarchs
March 15, 2024 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Two more impact players have signed with the Kansas City Monarchs in their quest to repeat as American Association champions. Josh Bissonette, an infielder who played in Triple-A with the Pirates last season, and former Red Sox pitching prospect Nate Tellier have signed with the Monarchs for 2024.
