Coste Leads Mexican Pacific League Team into Playoffs
January 2, 2026 - FARGO - RedHawks manager Chris Coste is adding to his managerial duties south of the border after being named the interim manager of the Mexican Pacific League's Cañeros de Los Mochis.
The Cañeros begin their playoff push this week with a first-round series against the Tomateros de Culiacán. Games can be viewed on the league's YouTube channel.

2026 Pecos League Schedule Released
January 1, 2026 - The Pecos League has unveiled its 2026 schedule.
All teams will play 54 games in the regular season. 2026 will be the 16th year of Pecos League Play.
The first day of regular season games in the Pacific Division is May 18, 2026.
The first day of regular season games in the Mountain Division is May 27, 2026.
There will be a total of 432 regular season games followed by three rounds of playoffs.

Wild Things Make Splash, Bring Back Anthony Brocato, Top 5 HR Hitter in FL History
December 30, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have made a splash in free agency, bolstering the middle of the lineup with the signing of outfielder Anthony Brocato, who played for the Wild Things in the back end of 2022 before being named a Frontier League Postseason All Star in 2023 with the team. Brocato left the Frontier League after 2023 before returning mid-2025 to the Florence Y'alls on a one-year deal, quickly returning to form as one of the biggest sluggers in league history.
