July 14, 2026 - Omaha Lancers general manager Marc Fritsche announced Tuesday a trade with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The Lancers have acquired defenseman Nate Celski in exchange for a Phase II Fourth Round selection in the 2027 USHL Phase II Draft.
"Adding a player like Nate solidifies our back end," Fritsche said. "Nate is a very good defender with a tremendous upside. We are excited to add another player with USHL experience."

The Lancers are one of the United States Hockey League's most historic and successful franchises. Eighty-five Lancers have been selected in the NHL Draft and 44 Lancers have played in the NHL.
Omaha has won five Anderson Cups as USHL regular-season champions and seven Clark Cups as USHL postseason champions, tied for first and first in league history, respectively. The Lancers have made the Clark Cup Playoffs

July 13, 2026 - The Omaha Lancers are well represented at the 2026 Boys National 17 Festival with seven players skating in Amherst, NY.
Players born in 2009 and registered USA Hockey players received the invitation to participate and compete for the opportunity to eventually be named to the 2026 U.S. Under-18 Men's Select Team that will participate in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Edmonton Aug. 3-8. July 9, 2026 - Avery Hanowski represents one of a large crop of players whom the Omaha Lancers plan to help return the team to repeated postseason success and go beyond just playing NCAA Division-I hockey.
Hanowski, 16, will get an exciting opportunity to represent his country next month when he skates in the 2026 Under-17 Four Nations Tournament in Chomutov, Czechia, from Aug. 15-19. Hanowski was 1-of-20 players selected, and 1-of-14 with USHL ties, to play for the U.S. Under-17 Select Team.
