October 2, 2026 - CORPUS CHRISTI - Infielder Yamal Encarnacion is the 2026 Corpus Christi Hooks Player of the Year, with right-hander Bryce Mayer taking home club pitcher of the year honors from this past season. Encarnacion, a 23-year-old from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, turned in the third-highest stolen base total in 21 campaigns of Hooks Baseball, swiping 48 bases in 58 attempts. Iowa Baseball Returns to Principal Park for Series vs. Rutgers

October 2, 2026 - DES MOINES, IA - University of Iowa baseball is returning to Principal Park in 2027 as the Hawkeyes will play Rutgers in a three-game series from May 14-16. The series marks the fourth consecutive year the Hawkeyes have hosted a series at Principal Park, providing fans an opportunity to see Iowa baseball in Des Moines.
