GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that pitcher Jose Rosario has joined the Cougars from the Cubs spring training complex in Arizona, while pitcher Felix Pena has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to Monday, May 12. Rosario is active for this evening's 6:30 p.m. game against Peoria at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.
Rosario (Non-drafted free agent, 2008) spent last season at Class-A Peoria and started 20 games, posting a 6-8 record and 4.22 ERA. In 6 games this season, Pena was 2-0 with a 2.23 ERA for Kane County.
