Titans Release Veteran DiLauro
December 5, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release
TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans, members of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers, have announced that they have released veteran defenseman Ray DiLauro.
DiLauro, from nearby Bensalem, PA, came to the Titans mid-way into last season to help tighten up the defense. The 12-year pro has played in the CHL, ECHL, AHL, a variety of leagues abroad and was a 9th round (#246) selection of the Atlanta Thrashers in the 1999 NHL Draft. He had 11 goals and 25 assists in 67 games with the Titans. This year he had seven points (2G, 5A), 14 PIM and a -4 rating in 19 games.
The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase in attendance over the previous year, the largest of any team in the (then) 20-team ECHL. For information on team events or to purchase tickets for the 2012-13 season, call the Titans' offices at 609-341-1100, or go to TrentonTitansHockey.com.
