MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis scored four runs early and held off Salt Lake to win 5-3 Thursday night at AutoZone Park.

Steven Hill put the 'Birds on the board with a three-run dinger in the first inning to grab an early lead. Cedric Hunter's sacrifice fly in the second extended the Redbirds' lead to 4-0. Memphis starter Shelby Miller blanked the Bees through the first five innings before they responded in the sixth with a sacrifice fly of their own and a two-run homer. Jose Garcia's base hit in the bottom of the frame tacked on an insurance run for the Redbirds as he plated Brock Peterson.

Miller picked up his fourth consecutive win for the 'Birds, giving up three runs on five hits while walking one and fanning seven. Victor Marte nailed down his second save with a scoreless ninth inning. Salt Lake starter Barry Enright took the loss, allowing five runs, three earned, on nine hits while walking two and striking out three.

The 'Birds wrap up their homestand tomorrow with game time slated for 7:05 p.m. Tomorrow the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a replica Organ Donor jersey t-shirt sponsored by the National Foundation for Transplants and AMRO Music.
