Round Rock continues an eight-game road trip with the third of four games against the Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks). First pitch is scheduled for 9:05 p.m. CDT at Aces Ballpark in Reno, Nev. The Express won each of their last five games, including last night's 14-1 victory. Round Rock won 15 of its last 21 games, the season's most successful stretch. The Express are 29-34 on the road but won 11 of their last 14 away from The Dell Diamond and have not lost a road series since the All-Star break (2-0-1). The Aces have lost five straight, matching their longest skid of the season, and six of their last eight. Reno is 35-26 at Aces Ballpark, going 9-9 at home since the All-Star break. Round Rock is fourth in the PCL's American Southern Division, 14 games behind division-leader Albuquerque. Reno holds a six-game lead over Colorado Springs in the Pacific Northern Division.

This is the lone meeting between Round Rock and Reno this season. The two teams split a four-game series at The Dell Diamond last season. Reno joined the Pacific Coast League in 2009, taking over the Diamondbacks affiliate previously known as the Tucson Sidewinders. ... SERIES NOTES: Reno holds a 15-14 edge in the all-time series (includes Tucson era). There has been only one true series win; Reno won three of four at Aces Ballpark in 2009, Round Rock's only previous trip to Reno. Due to division realignment following the 2010 season, the Express hosted the Aces in 2010 and 2011.
