Indians Catcher Carlos Santana to Rehab with Captains Today

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate for the Cleveland Indians, will have Cleveland Indians catcher Carlos Santana making a rehab appearance at Classic Park on Monday June 4. Santana is on the 7-day disabled list due to a concussion. He will be the designated hitter.

He was acquired in 2008 as part of the trade that sent Casey Blake and cash to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In his first full season I the Majors in 2011, he set a club record for home runs by a switch hitter with 27 and finished third in the American League with 97 walks. He hit .239 with 79 RBI's.
