Mother's Day Pampering at the Park

Tacoma, WA - The Tacoma Rainiers and their corporate partners are teaming up on Sunday, May 13, to make this Mother's Day a special one for all South Sound Moms.

All mothers are cordially invited to Cheney Stadium to experience a day of massages, manicures and brunch as the Rainiers host a 1:35 p.m. game against the Round Rock Express.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the doors to the Summit Club open to moms and their families for a special mother's day brunch. For $10 plus the price of a ticket, both members and non-members will be treated to a special Mother's Day menu created by Chef Nick of Levy Restaurants. Along with a delicious meal, the event provides families who have not yet seen the Summit Club a chance to enjoy the space's unique view and atmosphere.

The fun for moms continues at 12 p.m. on the Rainiers Terrace, located on level four of the party decks, with complimentary five-minute massages by Infinite Massage and manicures by Mobile Spa. Forza Coffee Company will be on hand to offer all the mothers in attendance a refreshing glass of iced tea while Applegate Farms will be handing out all beef organic hot dogs. While moms get pampered, kids will be treated to a free, customizable t- reading 'I Love My Mom Because...' compliments of a nationwide Gildan promotion.

The Rainiers next homestand starts today, Tuesday, May 8th at 7:05 p.m. against the Albuquerque Isotopes. The promotion-packed homestand is headlined by the club's Grit City Tickets promotion, featuring $5 general admission tickets to any Monday-Thursday home game throughout the month of May.

The eight-game set also includes the team's first two work week day games of the season (Wednesday, May 9th and Tuesday, May 15th), alongside such homestand staples as Microbrew Wednesday, Tasty Thursday, Friday Night Fireworks and Salute to Armed Forces on May 12th.
